2015 - CES 8

Jeremy did CES 8 on Saturday the 18th of July and had a steady catch every net round, with even the 'proper' garden 1, 1a, and 2 consistantly catching (these are often the quieter of the CES nets), the weather stayed overcast for most of the time which helped, and there was a steady movement of birds through the garden site, throughout the morning.

Interestingly there were very young Pheasant's flying very close to garden 5 at one point, followed by the female. Will we have a whole flock of tame pheasant this winter (see here)!?

Jeremy was busy with the secateurs on every net round with a bit of bramble cutting and willow trimming back each visit, it's amazing how quickly it grows this time of year.
