Due to a mixup with our earlier submission, we have only just received details of some the birds we controlled (ringed elsewhere) at the Lake last year -
Canada Goose 5262150 was ringed at Chew Valley Lake, Bath & NE Somerset on 28 June 2011, and caught at our roundup on 26 June 2016 - 1825 days. 80 km. 327 degrees. We previously caught this bird at our 2013 roundup, one of the few birds that has moved to/from Chew Valley Lake.
Chiffchaff HAD499 was ringed at Icklesham, East Sussex on 25 Sept 2015, and caught at the Lake on 2 Oct 2016 - 373 days. 296 km. 293 degrees.
Lesser Redpoll Z985557 was ringed at Hednesford Hills, Staffordshire on 8 May 2016, and caught at the Lake on 4 Nov 2016 - 180 days. 123 km. 225 degrees.
