Blackcap sessions 4 - 7

Jerry set the garden nets for a couple of hours on the eve of Thurs 19 Sept and caught 7 + (1) - incl 3 Blaca and 2 Chiff, which looked promising for the weekend sessions.  However that was not to be, and three reasonably quiet sessions followed.  

On Fri, Jerry and Andrew had a catch of just 17 + (4) which was attributed to the tape failing to come on.  However, despite the tape coming on at 5, there was an even quieter session for Jeremy on Sat of 10 + (2).  

On Mon, Jerry was back with a catch of 19 + (4), also well below what might be expected from the conditions (good for both night migration and catching).  

The total for the three sessions was 46 + (10) made up of 

9 + (3) Chiff, 

3 Goldc, 

19 + (1) Blaca, 

1 Garwa, 

3 + (1) Robin, 

(1) Dunno, 

1 Wren, 

1 + (3) Blabi, 

1 Treec, 

1 Bluti, 

3 Greti, 

1 + (1) Marti, 

1 Chaff, 

1 Bullf and 

1 Reebu.
