A visit to the Jetty and CES 12!

The week ending on Sunday the 3rd of September contained two visits to the lake.

On the 27/08 ALO attempted a morning at the Jetty, with the reeds being soaked bird movement in them was limited and this was reflected in the catch of just 10 + (2). The catch consisted of 4 Reewa, 2 Sedwa, 1 + (2) Bluti, 1 Blabi, 1 Wilwa and 1 Reebu! When asked, ALO's comments on the session were 'very quiet'!!!

On the 1/9 PJ and AJ had a very slightly more productive day doing CES 12. It was again a quiet morning but with some nice species to keep us going and to provide some variation for AJ. With a third of the catch being made up of Blaca it also suggested that maybe the next few weeks might produce some bumper catches of that species, with maybe a Padwa mixed in!! The final totals for CES 12 were:
