Jeremy and Jerry made an evening visit to set up the jetty site ready for future Acro ringing, which was made easier as Nigel and family were out in the boat, and used their landrover to widen the net lane, thus reducing the amount of cutting needed. Two nets were set for a couple of hours before dusk, and as there were about 200 Sand Martin about, a tape was also put on. Total of 11 + (10) made up of
7 + (9) Reewa,
(1) Reebu,
1 Wilwa,
2 Swall,
1 Sanma.
An additional 5 Starl were caught, but as they had no LRGp "C" rings, JR used his own.
A further highlight was a Fox emerging from the (dry) reed bed which wandered along the net lane.
