Reed bed 6th July

Amy and Jerry had a quiet session in RB2 (main boardwalk only) on 6th
July.  
The early mist was burnt off by 07.30 and it became hot and sunny
by mid morning, with little breeze - thankfully there was plenty of
shade at the ringing base.  

A total of 16 + (8), made up of
2 + (1) Redst,
1 Blabi,
2 Wilwa,
3 Chiff,
1 Blaca,
1 Sedwa (locally hatched and
just completing PJ moult),
2 + (7) Reewa (no youngsters, maybe the wet weather of about a month ago caused nest failure, as plenty of singing
in the reedbed),
2 Bluti,
1 Greti,
1 Reebu.  

Not large numbers but good
variety for Amy on her first session since the autumn.
