First CES 2019

Gareth completed CES 1 on 05 May 2019. A clear sky resulted in an exceptionally cold start to the session, not rising above zero before 07:00, and only reaching 4 degrees at 09:00.
The sun then may have hindered netting, but a reasonable 11 new and 15 retrap birds of a good variety of species were recorded during the morning.
Of note was a retrap female pied flycatcher, likely returning to the monitored nesting colony near the lake.

CES Total - 11 + (15)

Plus (2) Bluti and (2) Greti from the boxes. Two of the ringed birds in the CES were controls (not ringed at the Lake), a Blackcap (also caught by us last year), and a Pied Flycatcher.
