Good catch at Pennorth feeders

A planned visit to Pennorth on the 17th had to be abandoned because of heavy rain (morning) and high winds (afternoon), both of which were worse than the forecast.
Conditions were much better on Tues 18th however, so Jerry and Andy used one 30' net, and caught 54 + (5) in about an hour and a half (furling part way through the session to deal with the birds).
Blue Tits made up the bulk of the catch (more adults than first years), but House Sparrow seemed to be had a good season (also see previous blog) and their catch was a new "day max".  Details were:
1 Dunno,
28 + (4) Bluti,
1 + (1) Coati,
6 Greti,
1 Nutha,
13 Housp and
4 Chaff. Two other Chaffinch were released with badly scaled legs.
