Record year catch for Goldfinch

Nobody able to do any ringing over the weekend (despite "ideal" conditions), but on Mon 9th, Andy and Jerry had a session at the nyger feeder.  The catch mainly came in two short periods, and otherwise rather quiet, to end on 23 + (11).  

The Goldfinch catch took the year total to 86, just one above the previous record, set last year.  

Species mix was

1 + (1) Greti, 

(1) Treec, 

2 Chaff, 

12 + (6) Goldf, 

3 Grefi and 

(1) Bullf.
