Another session at Pennorth

Boxing day seemed to have the best forecast leading up to the New Year, so Jeremy and Jerry thought they would try netting at the feeders.
The Lake level had come up even further with the recent rain, and the flood covered the whole of the point and reed bed 2 fields (approx 20 Mute Swan in the latter), with about a foot of water in net lanes 3 and 3a.

They went to Andrew's garden instead, and after about two hours had caught 41 + (10) birds, made up of
1 Coati,
25 + (10) Bluti,
6 Greti and
9 Housp.

Several Water Rail had been forced out of the reedbeds, and were calling from the ditches, and a Woodcock was flushed from near gn7.
