A quiet week, looking like the summer migrants (Blackcap/Chiffchaff) have mainly gone, and the winter visitors (Redwing/Goldcrest/Siskin) not really arrived yet. On Monday 1st, Andy had a catch of 15 + (8), Jeremy tried on Wednesday with 16 + (6), Andy again on Friday with 9 + (3) and Jerry on Sunday with 8 + (2). Species mix - Wren 2 + (1), Robin (1), Dunnock 1 + (2), Blackbird (2), Chiffchaff 11 + (2), Blackcap 5 + (1), Goldcrest 6, Blue Tit 5 + (4), Great Tit 6 + (3), Long-tailed Tit 5 + (1), Treecreeper 1, Chaffinch 1, Siskin 3 and Bullfinch 2 + (2).
