Another common redpoll

George, Ron and Jerry went to the Lake on Sat 22 Feb, to continue "dead hedging".  

Following weeks of strong winds and heavy rain, the weather was settled, and the flood level had fallen, so they put up a net at the nyger feeder for a couple of hours after lunch. 

A total of 20 + (4) birds were caught, made up of 

(1) Bluti, 

1 Nutha, 

2 Siski, 

16 + (3) Lesre and 

1 Comre (the Group's 3rd, and soon after the 2nd, caught last autumn).
