Eight year old woodpecker re-trapped

The water level had fallen by about 18" or so, and on Monday 20th January, Andy and Jerry tried the sunflower feeder for a couple of hours - the net lane quickly became very muddy.
After a slow start, a group of un-ringed Blue Tits arrived to boost the total, and they eventually ended on 18 + (13), made up of:
(1) Robin,
12 + (7) Bluti,
(1) Marti,
2 + (1) Greti,
1 Goldf,
3 + (2) Grefi and
(1) Grswo.

The Woodpecker was the star bird, having been ringed way back in April 2006 (and re-caught only four times since then - the most recent November 2011).  It obviously only makes occasional visits to our netting area, and at a touch under eight years old, its only a couple short of the UK longevity record.
