On Thursday 17th January, Andy was having a morning "dead hedging" the cut material, when the wind dropped, so he opted to do a couple of hours netting at the Pennorth feeders. His catch of 12 + (3) was made up of Blue Tit 8 + (2), Marsh Tit 1, Great Tit 2 + (1) and Chaffinch 1.
Reed Warbler S931022 was ringed at the jetty on 20 June 2017, and was controlled at Chenac-Saint-Seurin-d'Uzet, Charente-Maritime, on 18 August 2018 - 424 days, 737 km, 167 degrees. We have previously had four of "our" Reed Warbler controlled at this site and an additional bird which bred at the lake for at least 5 years having previously been caught and therefore wearing a French ring on passage as a juvenile at this site.
