Andy and Jerry put a net up at the nyger feeders (on Sat 31st), for a
couple of hours. It was quiet, with just 13 birds, made up of Chaffinch
1 and Goldfinch 6 + (6). December saw a total of 112 birds ringed,
making our year total 2671 (subject to confirmation when all data input
into IPMR), and the 4th highest year we have achieved. The number of
ringing visits was our highest ever, and the total would have been much
greater, but for the poor breeding season.
