George and Ron, 04 September

Nets 4a and 4-7 (5 total) were put up but wet & windy conditions to start the day's ringing session a very slow start catching. However, there was some variety.

Jerry arrived at 9am & took Ron down to RB2 for a session .... of cutting back
Willow scrub. Andy King joined them shortly afterwards about 10am, and
ringing picked up between 11 & 11.45 with a small catch of Chiffchaff

22 new birds & 3 retraps... Good weather forecast from Tuesday so catches may
improve.

Observations on the lake were:

3x Lapwing , 2 X Common Sandpiper - 20+ Pied Wag on the point.
