A quiet end to September

The settled weather prompted Jerry to try some more garden sessions, on Mon 28th, he had a mid morning start and caught just 6 + (5). The dawn start on Tues (with tape playing) resulted in a more productive 26 + (9), which might have been repeated on Wed, had the wind not picked up. Amongst the leaves in the nets he caught 16 + (4).

With 215 birds ringed in Sept, the YTD total has reached 2127 (1973 at this stage last year) so maybe on for a respectable 2500 total after all.
