First half of February

The hut feeders have remained very quiet (apart from the Pheasants), so on 5th Jerry put up a short net in Carola's garden. They managed just nine birds, as the garden was not really "designed for ringing" - 5 Bluti, 1 Blabi, 1 Starl and 2 Housp. On 12th Andy and Jerry had the first session of the year in his garden. There were still plenty of new birds visiting and they had a catch of 28 + (14), made up of 1 Dunno, 17 + (9) Bluti, 6 + (4) Greti, 1 Housp, 3 Chaff and (1) Grswo.
