The end of July saw the completion of our Reed Warbler RAS monitoring, with another successful year. A total of 29 birds from previous years were recaptured - 17 in rb2, and 12 at the jetty (8 at morning sessions/4 at roosts). The birds were ringed in 2021 (1), 2022 (7), 2023 (10) and 2024 (11), a bonus was an additional adult wearing a Portuguese ring (the first we have had from Portugal, despite a few birds ringed at the Lake being caught there many years ago).
