We have recently received some additional recoveries/controls for 2024
Canada Goose 5243954 was ringed (adult) on 3 July 2005, its ring was found with a metal detector at The Weir, Herefordshire on 29 December 2024 - 7119 days, 33 km, 64 degrees.
Sedge Warbler BDE0052 was ringed (1st year) at the jetty on 2 August 2024, and was controlled at Tour aux Muntons, Donges, Loire Atlantique, France on 12 August 2024 - 10 days, 521 km, 171 degrees. Coincidentally Goldcliff R Gp had an Acro to the same site (16 Aug to 25 Aug 2024).
Chiffchaff NXD050 was ringed (1st year) in our scrub area on 19 Sept 2022, and was caught on 22 Oct 2024 at Trunvel, Treogat, Finistaire, France - 764days, 457 km, 190 degrees. Only our second ever recovery in France.
