AVV1141 Reed Warbler, a juvenile ringed at the jetty on 26 June 2022 (by JR) has been caught on 01 August 2024 at Carey Floodplain, Dorset. 706 days, 158 km, 151 degrees
BDE0075 Reed Warbler, a juvenile ringed in rb2 on 4 August 2024 (by JL) has been caught on 14 August 2024 at Durlston Country Park, Dorset. 10 days, 174 km, 149 degrees.
S961457 Pied Flycatcher, ringed as a chick at Cwm Glaisfer, Crickhowell (JR's nest box colony) on 6 June 2022 and was caught as a breeding female in a shelterbelt box on 16 May 2024 (by PJ), and 7 June (by JL). 710/732 days, 8 km, 352 degrees. (also caught there on 8 June 2023).
PPE008 Chiffchaff, ringed as a juvenile in rb2 on 23 July 2024 (by JL), and was caught on 4 October 2024 at Lancing College, West Sussex (a site where we have had several other exchanges). 73 days, 237 km, 121 degrees.
We still await details of a Belgium ringed Reed Warbler (17702715), caught in rb2 on 26 June 2024, and again on 30 June (by JL) - likely a breeding male.
