CES 1 2021, and Canada Goose Recovery

The 1st Constant Effort Session of 2021 was completed on 02 May 2021 by Gareth L. The start of the session was cold (below zero), but quickly warmed in the full sun. A total of 20 birds were ringed, with a further 21 retrapped (of 17 species) . The retrapped birds included a 'control' Goldfinch with a French ring (number 9608758).

Male pied flycatcher. The species breed regularly in nest boxes around Llangorse. 

An "unusual" Canada Goose recovery, 5264621 was ringed on 21 June 2018,and was a road casualty at the Lake on 13 April 2021 - 1030 days.
