More from 2019

The Group has had a good number of new Longevity Records in 2019 -

Greylag Goose 5234000 was seen again at Brockhall Quarry by Chris Wells - 2y, 2m, 1d (many years to go to get anywhere near the UK record).

Coal Tit D438686 was caught at the Pennorth feeders - 6y, 2d.

Cettis Warbler X789016 has extended its record to - 8y, 10m, 5d. If this bird is now caught again it would break the British Longevity record.

Blackcap X289575 was controlled in Spain - 5y, 6m, 4d.

House Sparrow TT55591 was caught at the Pennorth feeders - 5y, 10m, 18d.

Yellowhammer TZ61656 was caught at the Llangorse bird crop - 2y, 11m, 1d.

Both the Coal Tit, and the House Sparrow, have evaded capture between their ringing date and 2019.

The link to the right of the main page of the blog is up to date to the end of 2019.
