On Wednesday 18th January, calm (misty) weather was forecast, so
Carlton, Andy and Jerry decided to try the Llangorse bird crop again.
There were in excess of 250 birds present (c200 Yellowhammer and c20 Reed Bunting) - so they were expecting a decent catch. Unfortunately the birds couldn't be coaxed into the right part of the crop, and the session ended on just 17 + (6), made up of:
Robin 1 + (1), Dunnock 3 + (3), House Sparrow 1, Chaffinch 3, Reed Bunting 3 + (2) (which included a control), and Yellowhammer 6.
