Woodcock recovery

Not long after Alan ringed the Group's first Woodcock (see here), he has received an excellent recovery from a bird he ringed the previous winter (as the farm is the other side of Llangorse village, from our usual sites at the Lake, he used to use his own rings when out lamping). ET43628 (aged 5) was ringed at Upper Pendre farm on 20 Jan 2015. It was shot (presumably on its next spring migration) on 5 April 2016 at Delekhovoe, Dobrovskiy, Lipelsk O, Russia (53deg 2min N, 39deg 5min E), 2919 km, 441 days, 88 deg (E).
